Balancing life as a mom of 3, SpEd teacher, varsity volleyball coach, & community helper - all while staying dedicated to my own kids/family
We would like to thank you for supporting Marissa Canez in this year's Super Mom competition. Your participation allows us to aid Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in their commitment to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.
Life with three kids is nonstop—sports, school, snacks, and all the chaos in between—but I wouldn’t trade it for anything! From game days to homework battles, late-night talks to belly laughs, it’s the little moments that mean the most. I’m their loudest cheerleader, their biggest fan, and the proudest mom around. Watching them grow into strong, kind, and passionate humans is the best gift I could ever ask for.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget? One Christmas we skipped the presents and gave our kids something bigger—a trip to Disneyland. Our youngest turned five the day after, and spending Christmas Day in the park was pure magic. Two days full of laughs, rides, and memories we’ll never forget! It wasn’t about the gifts—it was about being together, soaking in the joy on their faces. Hands down, our favorite Christmas ever and one of my favorite core memories!
What would you do with $20,000?If I had $20,000, I’d take my kids on a trip out of the country to give them new experiences & create more core memories together. I’d also put it toward visiting all the different MLB stadiums with my husband—it’s on our bucket list and would be an unforgettable adventure. Lastly, I’d invest in my classroom- buying supplies and resources to make learning more engaging and meaningful for my students—because I’m a mom to them too. It would be the perfect mix of adventure, passion, & giving back.
