What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

Hearing the “I love you mama” everyday my kids have been old enough to speak. Listening to their journeys from everyday life, knowing I did something right, even if it was something small for the day.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

The First Night After they Were Born The world was quiet. The chaos of delivery was over, the visitors had gone home, the nurses had dimmed the lights— and it was just us. Our very first night together. You laid on my chest, tiny and warm, your breath syncing with mine like we’d been doing this dance forever. And maybe we had. Maybe my body knew you before my mind could catch up. Everything felt still. The kind of silence you don’t rush through because it feels like a prayer.

What would you do with $20,000?

I would love to use the money to have to put down on a home we all are so deserving of, something big enough to have a family compound where each kid has their own piece of land with their family later in life.
