My kids. They make me be and do the unimaginable. I am their doctor when they are sick, their shoulder when they cry, their superhero!
We would like to thank you for supporting Marilyn Collazo in this year's Super Mom competition. Your participation allows us to aid Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in their commitment to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.
I’d say it’s probably going to be when I see my kids navigating life on their own with the skills, knowledge and values I have instilled in them.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget? My kids are still young, 3 and 1, so not too many memories yet. But I will never forget the day my son met his younger sister. He had spent the week with his grandma while I gave birth and I remember missing him dearly. When he walked in to meet the new baby I was just taken aback at how much older and bigger he looked from the week before. He saw the baby and said “awww my baby”. He came over to the bed and gave her a kiss. 😘. It is the sweetest thing I ever seen.
What would you do with $20,000?I am currently renting and would like to be a homeowner. The very first thing I would do with 20k is go buy a house. I grew up poor and we moved around a lot as a kid because we got evicted from every place we lived. So I don’t know what it’s like to live in one place for most of your life, but I can imagine that it has great benefits and builds strong family ties. I am determined to give this to my kids. Give them a stable environment to thrive and build beautiful memories.
