I have been a single mom since I was 18. I have a 6 y/o girl & 2y/o boy. I always try to be better than I was the day before for them & i.
We would like to thank you for supporting Malorie Beaver in this year's Super Mom competition. Your participation allows us to aid Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in their commitment to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.
Watching them grow into their own people with their own ideas. My daughter now being 6 always wants to do things her own way & independently. While I may not always let her do all the things that she wants I always let her know why & what she can do differently instead. As for my boy he’s still only 2 but is now making his own decisions as well. I think it’s a beautiful thing that we not only create these little humans but then we also get to set them up to succeed in life.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget? My first time ever taking both of the kids to Disney world together. My son was only 6 months & it was for my daughter’s fifth birthday. She had been once before this but being able to share it with her brother made it that much more fun for her. We went again when she turned 6 & her brother was one. Being able to share those experiences with her, my son & my grandmother (who raised me) has been the biggest blessing. She did it for me as a child now I get to do it for mine & her.
What would you do with $20,000?I would use 15k for a down payment on a house for myself, my grandmother & my kids. My grandmother is a widow & 72 so we live with her & help out but we still rent where we are. 15k would be enough for a down payment so that way we have a forever home that we can all be comfortable in. At the moment I’m working to get a car as well since I lost mine a few months ago due to someone hitting it. I would like to use the other 5k for a down payment on a mom car.
