I’ve loved my kids from the moment I felt their little kicks in my belly, but getting to know them and seeing the world through their eyes is my favorite part. It’s so special to see their little personalities develop, discover what they love, all the things they’re passionate about, and help guide them through their process of self discovery.

When I gave birth to my younger son, I was so nervous about how my oldest would feel as he had been an only child for 7 years. However, when we came home from the hospital he gave himself the title of ‘co-mom’. He would wake up early in the morning and offer to make a bottle, cuddle with us, and read books and sing songs to his baby brother. It was such a delicate time and I was so proud of the bond we created.

As a young mom I had to work really hard to support myself and my son, he often tagged along to work with me and ended up with a very entrepreneurial spirit. I would use 70% of the winnings to help him start a small business providing a service (teaching him how to cold call, schedule, take payment, and work with others). The remaining 30% I would use to surprise my kids with a trip to Disney World.
