Love despite life. I had my daughter at 20 in college, my son at 26 & finances have always fluctuated, but putting them & their love first
We would like to thank you for supporting Lyteshia Price in this year's Super Mom competition. Your participation allows us to aid Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in their commitment to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.
The most rewarding part about being a mom is the unconditional love exchange. I was young when I had children & I grew up rough, but I never knew that purity of love until I had my daughter. My world has consistently fluctuated on blessings and failures, and I’ve always felt I wasn’t worthy, but the smiles, jokes, cuddles, & adventures make me feel like my purpose is to be their mother. They look for me in the low & high moments & I feel so blessed to matter that much, it means everything to me
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget? My daughter does rec travel cheer, and the memory she and I both talk about is when we went to her first ever competition in ocean city Maryland. It was the first vacation I had with them, and I just remember them running on the beach and laughing with each other. It wasn’t super fun because my son was 2 and kept running to the ocean, but it was such a peaceful moment that all 3 of us had together. We ate crabs, at rainbow pancakes and just got to relax away from school or responsibilities.
What would you do with $20,000?I would take 5k and use it to open up investment accounts for my children, I would use another 5k to pay for my last graduate school class so I don’t take out student loans, I would use the rest to redo our house floors & outside yard for summer cookouts.
