I’m a Super Mom because I care for my autistic son, support my athlete son, and still show up strong at work every single day.
We would like to thank you for supporting Lucresia White in this year's Super Mom competition. Your participation allows us to aid Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in their commitment to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.
The most rewarding part of being a mom is watching my autistic son grow and learn in his own special way, celebrating every little milestone. I love seeing my oldest son thrive in school and shine in sports—he’s becoming so smart and strong. Balancing work, therapies, and sports isn’t easy, but their smiles, hugs, and progress make it all worth it. Being their mom is the greatest gift, and seeing them grow is my biggest reward.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget? One memory I’ll never forget is when we went to the park and my oldest son noticed other kids weren’t playing with his autistic brother. Without hesitation, he left his own friends to go play with his brother instead. Watching him choose love, kindness, and loyalty in that moment warmed my heart and reminded me what an amazing bond they share. It was a beautiful reminder of the kind of young man he’s becoming.
What would you do with $20,000?If I had $20,000, I’d invest it into growing my new hair salon, creating a welcoming space that includes sensory-friendly items so my autistic son can feel comfortable there with me. I’d also use the funds to help cover my older son’s athletic expenses so he can continue thriving in sports. This would help me support both my business and my boys’ dreams at the same time.
