We would like to thank you for supporting Loun in this year's Super Mom competition. Your participation allows us to aid Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in their commitment to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.

What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

The most rewarding part of being a mom is watching my two beautiful Black boys, of Haitian and Nigerian descent, grow into who they’re meant to be. Every laugh, every small victory, and every challenge they overcome fills my heart with pride. I’m not just nurturing them to be strong, but to embrace their rich heritage with love and confidence. In guiding them, I’ve found my own strength, purpose, and deeper connection to our roots. Our journey together is the greatest gift

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

One memory I’ll never forget is when the doctors told me both my boys, born premature, might not survive or thrive. I held onto hope, even when it seemed impossible. Today, they’re healthy, strong, and thriving beyond what anyone imagined. Watching them grow from tiny, fragile babies to the amazing boys they are now fills my heart with so much gratitude and pride. Their journey is a constant reminder that love, faith, and resilience can defy all odds

What would you do with $20,000?

If I had $20,000, I’d use it to open an indoor playroom for kids with sensory needs, complete with quiet spaces and soothing music. I’d create a calming environment with soft lighting, sensory-friendly equipment, and areas where kids can relax and recharge. The music would be gentle and therapeutic, helping children feel at ease. This space would offer a safe, inclusive place where kids can explore, play, and find comfort—giving families a space where their children can thrive
