Ive been struggling with my health over the last year, had 3 surgeries, multiple procedures, and my mom was with me every step of the way.
We would like to thank you for supporting Lori Buchanan in this year's Super Mom competition. Your participation allows us to aid Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in their commitment to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.
I think the most rewarding part about being a mom is watching your littles grow not only in size but their personality, their education, and them growing into the person that their becoming. You get to watch them each day become this incredible human, watch them learn lessons, the good and the bad. See how they handle their feelings and for me I'm so proud of their sweet caring hearts that they have for others. Each day my 3 sons amaze me and they make me want to be the best mom I can be.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget? My favorite memory with my sons would have to be camping over at the Oregon coast in the Redwoods. They got to see the ocean, play in the water, build sand castles, and ride on a monster sand buggie. They got to make smores by the camp fire and we listened to their camp fire stories until it was time for bed. I was healthy enough to even get to throw the football for my oldest for a little while and just spending time with them all made the whole trip.
What would you do with $20,000?I would put the 20,000 towards our life. It would help with bills that we are behind due to me missing work due to being sick. I would get them new shoes and clothes that are much needed. That money would go towards their sports and maybe a new pair of sunglasses for me so when I feel healthy enough to watch I could get a good view of my boys playing. Being sick I've missed so much and I want to soak in every moment when I can. That money could help our family more than I could put into words.
