We would like to thank you for supporting Lora Leigh Mckee in this year's Super Mom competition. Your participation allows us to aid Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in their commitment to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.

What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

I get to see all the countless tears and nights of no sleep caring for my babies, turn into young adults that are thriving in life, and try their hardest because their mom never gave up on them.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

I will never forget when my kids got a little older and we were all sitting around the dinner table and they said mom if it wasn’t for you I would have never made it this far. You are the definition of love and self sacrifice. They watched me finish college all while juggling being a mom and working. It gave them the strength to reach their own goals. That made all of my struggles worth it. I never went to high school, so I did GED and college in my 20s while being a single mom. Now I’m a RN.

What would you do with $20,000?

I would catch up on my bills, and have a ton of weight lifted off my shoulders. My daughter is graduating in May and I am working every weekend I can for overtime money so I can afford to give her a party. I would take a vacation and reset, rediscover myself. Life can be tough but we just can’t give up. I would also be able to fix my car, she is on her last leg. I would be forever grateful. I know there are many moms who are struggling and deserving of this, I pray it blesses their life. Thanks
