The most rewarding part is seeing how resilient my kids are with this lifestyle. We move a lot and have to adjust all the time with Dad being gone or having to change schools, being away from family. They adjust so quickly and adapt to our constant changes. They are positive kids and just continue to grow and make me so proud.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?One core memory is when my husband came home from an 8 month deployment on a ship- we didn’t get to see him on video but one time! My boys were 7 and my daughter was 1 and when they finally saw him they went running to him and jumped in his arms. It was the most humbling moment that still constantly runs through my mind.
What would you do with $20,000?I would add it to my kids accounts for their future. I want them to have something for when they turn 18 and get started out in this world. Knowing they have something to start out with gives me comfort that I’ve been doing something right for them. I want them to have the best life and will do anything to set them up for that.
