The most rewarding part is seeing him blossom and catch up with his developmental milestones by getting him the help he needs despite the outward judgements of others. Seeing my child experience unconditional love from his father & paternal grandmother. Showing up differently than what I learned growing up has made the difficult and challenging days about learning, bonding, and growing together. Everyday I feel rewarded seeing my child grow, it keeps me strong while I keep us from toxic family.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?When he finally started crawling! He started crawling when most babies start walking at 12.5 months old. He cried so much in physical therapy and it felt like ages to get to this point. His father and I will never forget this because we worried a little less from then on because we knew he will overcome his challenges.
What would you do with $20,000?I would love to put these 20,000 into a down deposit for a house. We live in New York City & just feel in our hearts it’s time to move on from this place. Our neighborhood is no place to raise a child. These 20k can give us just what we need for our very own house.
