The best part is watching them grow and mature into amazing mini adults. Giving them the perfect blend of freedom and guidance to allow them to make the right choices and become kind, honest, and respectful members of the community with such beautiful hearts. Watching them grow gives me so much joy and makes me so proud to be their mother! The love and bond we share is so strong, so they never forget they can do anything they set their minds to and always have a support system to help guid them.

When raising so many kiddos, the number of memories is endless, but I would have to say that one thing I will NEVER forget was the Christmas before last when we had our first real Christmas together as a blended family, and hosted family Christmas at our house which is something I had never been able to do in the past. It was so special to show the kids how life can be different and it’s ok to start over and find happiness and never settle for less than you deserve.

We are trying to build a new home because as a family of 10, we have far beyond outgrown our humble home. If I were to win the $20,000 I could use that money towards the new house so that we have the space we need to enjoy our lives together. Cramming 7 teenagers and a new baby into a small home can cause a lot of tension, and our new home will help foster more positive relationships. Since my partner suffered a traumatic Brain injury last year, I have been the only income so $20k would help!
