Becoming a single mother and juggling multiple roles with challenges, built a strong bond between my daughter and I.
You decide who will appear in Woman's World magazine, enjoy a weekend getaway in Napa, and take home $20,000
Watching my daughter develop into a beautiful, loving, respectful and compassionate young lady while overcoming the challenges in life of personal growth. I, too, realizing thru her personal growth, learn more about myself. We’re both learning that personal growth is a continuous journey of self-discovery and improvement.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?I have many memories. But the most significant one was in 2007; my daughter was sitting in my lap crying and said, “Mom, we’re not a family any more”. I said to her, “I know it’s just the two of us, but, we’re still family”. Age of 8, my daughter’s father died; he was 49; heart attack; and we were divorced. Within this loss, we created a saying,..She’ll think of it first or I will, “It’s just you and I” and the other person will say, “but we’re still family”. This became our family motto.
What would you do with $20,000?Numerous home repairs, better home improvements, donate to my church home, St. Jude and UCSF medical research.
Help Lena Vinson become the next Super Mom while also helping support Children's Miracle Network in their commitment to save the lives of as many children as possible.
