Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

When I look at our daughter, she’s the reason I want to make the world a better place. When I look at her, I don’t see the world we live but instead, I see the world that we’re creating for her as her parents. She’s the reason that it’s so important to take care of our earth and to showcase qualities like courage and kindness. Each day she stares at me with her big brown eyes, and as I stare back at her and as my heart grows bigger than I ever could imagine, all this is what rewards me the most.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

A moment I’m sure we will laugh at later down the road and surely never forget would be the time that our daughter created her first blowout that just so happen to erupt on momma’s leg also. As I soon told her grandparents about the occurrence, what they said will stick with me forever. Laughingly they said, “Well momma you’ve officially been initiated.” And with that, I could never complain, nor forget, about my honored initiation.

What would you do with $20,000?

For my boyfriend and I we’ve always been go with the flow type of people, not settling and always renting from place to place. Since having our daughter together, we’ve changed our whole way of life to give the most permanent and stable life for our little family. $20,000 would change our lives drastically as we’re actually in the market to purchase our first bit of land to start building our forever home on.
