My grown children call me for advice and my younger ones are attached at the hip. I’m actually a teacher in one of their classes.

My favorite part about being a mom are those moments where you are just fully present with your kids. Having children that are 24, 22, 14, and 7 it looks different for every kid. One is really into gaming, one cooking and music, one fitness, and the little is into music and dancing. Depending on the day I might be playing Heroscape, bickering with my oldest daughter in the kitchen, going to the gym, or dining my heart out with either of my daughters. I love connecting with them on their level.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?We recently had a family dinner and I got to meet my oldest son’s girlfriend for the first time. My oldest daughter had us go around and share the rose and thorn of our day, and a bud (something to which we are looking forward). It was beautiful to hear them all share, including their grandparents. Not to mention the food was amazing!
What would you do with $20,000?Pay off a credit card and use the rest for a down payment on a house! Or a family staycation at the Arizona Grand this summer! Buy Christmas presents early for once.
