Watching my child flourish into his own skin. Seeing his smile, his growth, his confidence build everyday, it’s so beautiful. We moved into our house a few years ago and he was the new kid in school, so he was bullied for a while and it was very hard for the both of us. But seeing him overcome his doubts, fears, and imperfections, to become this stronger and more happier person, it is very inspiring.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget? One of my best memories is teaching my son to drive. Watching him have his first time jitters made me so joyful and proud. Typically, I’d be the one scared and nervous but somehow I remained calm, because he’s always been that way for me. No matter what we do, nothing really rattles him. He’s always levelheaded and supportive but seeing him worried made me realize that, he’s growing up to become the man I always knew he could be. He had a few hiccup moments but overall he did really really well.
What would you do with $20,000?Having that $20,000 means so much to us. I could find us a bigger, better, forever home, and put the rest of the money towards his education. He wants to be a police officer once he graduates (in two years) so I will put that money away for his college tuition and degree.
