The most rewarding part of being a mom is knowing I have the privilege of playing a part in the development of my girls future. There is a deep sense of fulfillment I have in watching them grow into their own unique individuals. It’s the simple moments of sharing a laugh that are most rewarding. We share an irreplaceable bond. I know, no one can comfort them like mama. I plan to continue to encourage and support them to be strong willed, future leaders of society.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?Outside of each of their unique birth stories. I will never forget having my daughter alongside me as I worked to promote and protect the health and well-being of women. When I was invited to the White House having her accompany me is a memory I will forever value. She was the reason I started advocating for womens health. Once I started I knew there was no stoping. She was watching me and I knew through my advocacy her future would be impacted.
What would you do with $20,000?With $20,000 we would pay off some debt. We would also put some of it in both of the girls college savings accounts. A portion of the money would also be used to help start a nonprofit that continues my work in advocating for womens health. The remaining would be used for fun on our bi-annual family vacation.
