I am a single mother of 5. I have my bachelors degree in human services and will be completing my masters in mental health and wellness Nov.
We would like to thank you for supporting Lashunda in this year's Super Mom competition. Your participation allows us to aid Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in their commitment to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.
The most rewarding part of being a mom is witnessing the pure joy on my children's faces as they pursue their goals and celebrate their achievements. Each smile reflects not just their happiness, but the hard work and dedication they've put into reaching milestones, big and small. Beyond that, I cherish the opportunity to guide them in becoming great people—instilling values like kindness, empathy, and resilience. Watching them grow
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?I’ll never forget my daughter’s first basketball game. Seeing her in that little uniform, full of excitement and nerves, brought a huge smile to my face. As the game started, I watched her hustle up and down the court, giving it her all. When she scored her first basket, the look of pure joy on her face was priceless! I felt an overwhelming sense of pride as she celebrated with her teammates, cheering each other on. It wasn't just about the game; it was her determination and spirit.
What would you do with $20,000?If I were to win a $20,000 grand prize, my priority would be securing affordable housing for my children and me. Living in a place with high rent and inadequate conditions has been a challenge, and this prize would provide us with a much-needed opportunity for stability. I would use the funds as a down payment on a safe, well-maintained home in a community where my children can thrive. Having a secure environment is crucial for their well-being and development.
