What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

The most rewarding part of being a mom is, my children accepting me for who I am. The, “I love you too much”, the girls smelling on me, the smiles, the whispering in my ear from the 4 year old. Also when my four year old says, “I love your eyes! Do you have Chocolate in them? Having a meal together in the car on the way home. The convo with my fifteen yr old about the high school drama. And my 22 yr old asking me on FaceTime how she looks for an outing with her peers.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

The day I Adopted my 4 year old. The anxiety I felt was moments of joy. Even though it was a zoom court hearing, all my friends and love ones were on. Listening to them praise me as a mom My baby running back and forth to the computer showing the judge her sparky shoes and her pink dress. My heart was beating so fast. And finally the adoption was legal!! Best day ever!! We all wore PINK. The day I felt like a superhero.

What would you do with $20,000?

I would take my girls on a Disney cruise. My 4 yr old loves Minnie Mouse. I would also help my 22 yr old pay off some college debt. I would fill my refrigerator with lots of food especially the snacks the girls love. I would also take another single mom out on a spa date. Make her feel appreciated. Open both younger daughters a savings account starting with $500 each. i would get a well deserved MASSAGE!! Every joint and muscle that I’ve had to use to teach my Pre-k students!
