As a single mom of four, I balance love, sacrifice, and hustle—raising strong, kind, and driven kids while leading by example every day.
We would like to thank you for supporting Laronda Sullivan in this year's Super Mom competition. Your participation allows us to aid Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in their commitment to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.
The most rewarding part of being a mom is watching your kids grow into their own unique selves, knowing you’ve helped shape their confidence and values. It’s in the little moments—when they seek your advice, achieve a goal, or say “I love you” unexpectedly. Seeing their resilience, passions, and successes makes every challenge worth it. As a single parent, I imagine the joy comes from knowing your love and sacrifices are building their future. What’s been most fulfilling for you?
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget? With my oldest being 21 and 20, and my younger two at 14 and 9, I have so many memories I could share. But my favorite is simply being there when my kids need me most cheering them on at school events, watching them play sports, and making unforgettable memories on family trips. Those moments of love, support, and togetherness mean everything to me.
What would you do with $20,000?With $20,000, I’d take my children on a much-needed family vacation, creating memories we’ll cherish forever. I’d also invest in our family businesses, helping them grow and thrive. Lastly, I’d use a portion to pay off some of the debt accumulated during my divorce, easing financial stress and setting us up for a stronger future.
