What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

Choosing conscious parenting as a philosophy, my goal is to raise balanced, regulated & responsible adults. Each time Eliana & Gabrielle put learned values into practice, I experience pleasure being their mom. They authentically model acts of loving kindness, integrity, vulnerability & confidence by challenging themselves & knowing their own worth, while remaining humble. The most rewarding part is getting to be mom every day. There’s no greater blessing in life than getting to be their mom.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

When Gabrielle was born, Eliana's 1st words to her were, "I love you, Baby." I prayed they'd always have that bond. Through the years of mostly loving moments with some sibling rivalry, they have been each other's constant having parents who live separately. In 2023, they spent the whole summer apart for the 1st time. It was hard on both of them. When they reunited, they ran to one another, embraced and look lovingly into the other's face, it was a mutual, “I love you, Baby” moment.

What would you do with $20,000?

First, because there is always someone in greater need, we would choose a charity to donate to. Then we’d celebrate with a joy-filled vacation together. A small amount would support the next step in developing my retirement business. As a public school educator and my children’s primary provider, I’ve incurred financial obligations by always put my children's needs at the forefront, no matter the cost. The largest amount would pay these bills.
