What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

The most rewarding part of motherhood is watching my daughter develop into the wonderful young adult she is becoming. Her transition into adulthood is a complete honor to witness, as she navigates her path to success. Watching her mature and follow her dreams makes my heart sing. There is no better feeling than experiencing my daughter thriving and living her best life. My sincere hope is that I live a full life and have the honor of watching her future unfold with all its greatness.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

I will never forget the day my daughter called from her high school counselor's office to share with me that she was the Valedictorian of her senior class. In that moment, I thought of the many times over the years that she refused to give up. Her tenacity and courage is truly inspiring. Grieving the death of her father, a mere six months prior to her graduation, leaves me in awe of her ability to persevere. I raised a true rock star!

What would you do with $20,000?

My daughter has been blessed with lots of talents and abilities. She is an exceptionally gifted child and plans to become a lawyer. Her heart for helping others has feuled her passion to provide advocacy and legal representation for individuals of marginalized populations. As a single mother, I would love to eradicate my daughter's worries of how she will finance her continued educational costs. Law school will be expensive, and I will use the money to pay for her educational expenses.
