Ladariah Davis

I’m a super mom because I didn’t let my childhood make me I became the change I wanted. I’m a super mom because I’m present and have love!

What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

The most rewarding part of being a mom is feeling like you have a new found purpose. My childhood was tough so seeing that I can be the change for my child is so refreshing! Simple things like cooking in the kitchen with my 3 year old makes life seem worth living. I think getting the quality time together is super rewarding; because so many of us didn’t get a lot of one on one time with our parents or guardians. For me I love watching the kinda hearted individual my daughter is growing into!

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

This past Christmas was one for the books. But the holiday season not Christmas Day exactly. Seeing the spark in my daughter’s eyes with all the activities was lovely. She painted a DIY Christmas tree all on her own and she asked for the lights to be on every night. During this time we had Christmas music playing. My 3 year old learned “jingle bells”in 1 day! This made my heart full just seeing how capable she was and getting to share the holiday love with her and her little voice was the best!

What would you do with $20,000?

With 20,000 I would be able to set up a better financial situation for my daughter and the child I am currently pregnant with! With 20,000 I’d be able to finally introduce my family I’ve created to my grandmother who is 83 this year! This could help me show appreciation for my spouse for all he has done for us! I also plan many fun days with my daughter. Even enroll her in a sport or advanced education which I’ve been wanting to do for sometime. I could pay it forward to those who helped me!
