I’m a single mama to my two boys. I have been for most of their lives and I have them 99% of the time. It’s hard work! As my boys have gotten older and I am now preparing to send my oldest off to high school, the most rewarding part is seeing all of the things you have spoke into them, shine in who they are! There’s nothing better than watching little lives you’ve been blessed with leading turn into these awesome, kind, hardworking, Jesus loving dudes!
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?A couple of years ago I took my boys on a 3 week road trip that covered a dozen states. One of our stops was in Chattanooga TN. As we drove into the mountains, my boys first time seeing mountains, the car was completely silent. All the games and conversations, immediately ended. I look back at my sons who are in awe of what they are seeing, and I see a tear on the cheek of my oldest- he was 10. The fact that they were so moved by the glory of creation. Oh, my mama heart!
What would you do with $20,000?I would use this as a stepping stone to home ownership for me and my boys!
