I’ll never forget the moment my son hit his first home run at just five years old. As soon as the bat connected with the ball, sending it soaring, my heart nearly exploded with pride. He ran those bases with the biggest smile on his face, and by the time he crossed home plate, I was cheering so loud that everyone on the field heard me. I would put $10,000 into my son's savings to help with his college expenses, giving him some financial support for his education, when he goes to college. And with the other $10,000, I would do some remodeling on my house, like updating the bathrooms, redoing the floors, or improving the curb appeal to make my home more comfortable and valuable.
