I don’t know about super mom but I’m raising my 4 year old alone since her dad passed of brain cancer when she was 2.
We would like to thank you for supporting Kristy Paulson in this year's Super Mom competition. Your participation allows us to aid Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in their commitment to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.
Seeing my daughter thrive and be kind despite the trauma she endured as a young child . She was 2lbs 10 oz at birth. Seeing her be empathetic and thoughtful to others makes me proud . I enjoy every moment knowing what a gift it is to have her and to be alive to see her humor and personality. Every first is a gift and something I do not take for granted as her father cannot be here to see them.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget? My daughter lost her father and great grandma and grandpa in 18 months. She was with each of these people hours before they died . At her young age she was so compassionate and wise and unafraid of sickness and death . Seeing her hug on her dad when he couldn’t speak anymore and him rubbing her back as her uncles were holding him up in bed is something I will never forget . She has pictures of that sweet moment .
What would you do with $20,000?I would pay off her dental bills, pay for a year of private school tuition and put the rest in a fund for her to use when she is old enough use for wedding or school .
