What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

The most rewarding part of being a mom is getting a front row seat to seeing all their stages of life. I am always the first hug in the morning, last kiss before bed and a little bit of everything in between. No matter what is happening around me and the chaos that fills my days at work or in life, I find a sense of calm and hope in my kiddos.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

My son was born in June 2020, 4 months after the world shut down. Prior to his birth, we had tried to get pregnant again for 6 extremely long years. His sister waited 6 years to be a big sister and when we finally brought him home, after the quietest hospital stay imaginable, seeing her immediately embrace her role of big sis and love him with her whole heart is a memory I’ll carry with me forever.

What would you do with $20,000?

As a college director, I am astonishingly aware of how debilitating the rising cost of obtaining a college degree can be. To help set my kiddos up for success some of the money will be allocated into their college fund, I’ll gift a trip to my mom because I’ve learned everything I know from her and lastly I’d take the family on a Disney cruise because I couldn’t imagine not including our favorite mouse in our celebration!
