Receive Text UpdatesMy kids teach me so much about what is really important in life. Because of their special needs, every day tasks that most take for granted, including speech, motor functioning and understanding social cues, require a lot of effort. Thus, every time they accomplish even a small every day task, they inspire me so much. My son (8-years) is so happy and loving despite his challenges, including severe epilepsy, and my daughter (5-years) is sweet and brilliant despite her struggles.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?A memory that stands out to me is going to Disneyland with them and watching their faces light up on their favorite rides and hearing the sounds of their laughter. They are so resilient and brave and can find so much joy in these experiences despite their struggles.
What would you do with $20,000?Honestly, I would be using it to develop a life-saving gene therapy for my son. I would give anything for him to live and thrive in this life.
Help Kristin Herzberg Purdy become the next Super Mom while also helping support Children's Miracle Network in their commitment to save the lives of as many children as possible.
