Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

The most rewarding part of being a mom is the deep, unconditional love and bond that forms with my son. Watching him grow, achieve milestones, and develop his unique personality fills me with pride. Guiding him through life, teaching him values, and witnessing his joy and accomplishments provide a sense of purpose. The emotional connection, the shared moments of happiness, and knowing I am helping him shape his future creates is unparalleled.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

He gave me a Valentine’s Day card a few years ago, and it was clearly a husband and wife card, but he changed those titles. The card talked about filling him with joy, feeling loved all of the time, he feels comfort when I’m around, and the card just brought me to tears. I always want him to feel that, and he expressed to me that he truly does. I knew I was on track as his mom, so I work to be those things for him everyday. I’m his safe place and he acknowledged that that was 100% true!

What would you do with $20,000?

Go debt free! We have been focusing so hard on going debt free; I was working 3 jobs at one point, while being a mom, wife, and student! I’m now down to one job, that I just went full time at, a local non profit, where I am their marketing specialist and administrative assistant! Then I would invest some of it for my son for his future, donate to our church and the non-profit I work at, and take a family vacation!
