Being able to see that my children are truly connected and actually enjoy each others company! Days when I have all 4 of my children, my grandson and sometimes even my niece working together in the salon is so very special to me. On summer Sundays I have my esthetician daughter waxing, my nail tech daughter doing beautiful work while the boys sale paletas out front and my stylist niece helps take care of clients with me...it's truly an amazing feeling.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?Every year we do a cross country road trip and one year in particular we ended up on Beal street in Memphis. Well that night...my kids could care less about the lights people watching and music they were photographing, recording and OBSESSED with the roaches!!!! They couldn't believe how big they were and couldn't stop watching until one flew and we almost fell out in horror then laughter! Hahahahaha it's the weird things that happen on the road we all remember most.
What would you do with $20,000?$20,000 would help me to invest in another business for my children to have the most independence, flexibility and stability. We have been wanting to start a cafe of some sort and $20,000 would be a wonderful first start for us. They helped me build our salon and are eagerly planning for what could be next.
