Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

Ugh!! Watching my babies develop and learn new things! My toddler is slowly starting to say more and more words and people’s names and it’s the most precious thing to be able to witness it. Seeing them become their own person and overcome challenges, it is just so bittersweet.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

Obvious answer: hearing them say mama for the first time. Both of my children are still very young (I have 2 under 2, the oldest being 22 months) but seeing my son (the oldest) recognizing some of our family members and his face lighting up is so precious to me. Sometimes it’s overwhelming being a SAHM because usually all he wants is me. Also seeing how much he adores his father 😭 dad works a long hitch so I’m by myself with the kids a TON, but Lucas LOVES when dad is home!

What would you do with $20,000?

I would honestly invest a chunk of it for the kids to have later on in life, hopefully grow with interest! I would also love to buy a couple of things for us to enjoy now. Just little things we could use. I would like to purchase a camera so I can start taking more quality photos of them, buy an outdoor playground. Probably go on a mommy makeover shopping spree lol! And then I’d probably give some to a local women’s center for postpartum depression as I really struggled with it after my second.
