Having the opportunity and privilege to be with my son and daughter everyday, all day of their lives is so important to me. I’ve been able to watch them grow into such loving, kind and compassionate little kids, kiss boo-boos, help them through their difficult situations and emotions and also witness all their accomplishments.

As a military family, it is sometimes difficult to see extended family as much as we’d like but when we do get the chance, nothing warms my heart more than to witness my children being loved on by my parents, their Aunts and Uncles and watching them play and connect with all their cousins. So my favorite memory is a small cluster of memories that involve family, love and laughter.

As much as I try to protect my children from some of the harsher realities that we may face as adults, they (we) have had a very hard and emotional few years. I would use this money to break away from some of the chains that bind us to that and start fresh and a healthier and happier environment and then have family get together that they will never forget ❤️
