Knowing that maybe I had a small part in making a difference in their lives. Helping them know that your past does not define you. You choose who you become. Getting to love my children and show them how proud I am of the choices they make.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?Working for a group home for 10 years we have seen many tears and hurts from children brought to us by social workers. Some children neglected, some abused, some just had no family at all. My daughter at the time was 4 years old. She walked out of my office down to our new students room and gave him something. When she came back I asked her “Rylee what did you give him?” She said, “Mommy I wanted him to feel welcomed and not sad so I made him a picture.” She has showed love to each student.
What would you do with $20,000?I would love to pay off our debt and take a nice family vacation.
