I’m a single mom with lupus and I make sure I do everything to make sure my son is happy and taking care of by myself no family no help.

The live the bond we share..he talks to me about anything and understands my illness and helps out. Knowing that I’m his safe space is always rewarding to me. I was adopted so I really don’t know my family but my son and I have a bond like no other ..I’m able to show him the love I never got physically..mentally and spiritually. Even though I can’t physically work anymore I’m able to do what I love which is what I have a degree in with him and I love that for us.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?When I am sick or if I just had a surgery he is always willing to play doctor..he takes in such a big responsibility at 10 and I wish a lot of times I could do more but when I look into his eyes I know I’m doing the best I can and we are all we have at the end of the day along with God.
What would you do with $20,000?I live in San Fernando valley projects in Pacoima California and I try to make the best I can with where I live. I honestly want to move I have no help no family so I would move and put the rest in a trust fund for my son to go to a HBCU he deserves everything plus more for how he helps me everyday.
