Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

To see him excel in everything he sets his mind to. Knowing that my obstacles I overcame continues to be a blessing to my son. The intellectual talks I have with him that always end with, “You’ve got this mama!” “You’re the best mom ever!”. Allows me to know God placed a mini me in my life to give me the undeniable drive to keep going. To be able to give him the guidance he will need to make his own path in life.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

December 9th,2017 as I returned to my seat after walking the stage to receive my bachelors degree. There my son sat waiting for me with the biggest smile. As I reached to grab him with tears in my eyes, he proceeded to say “Yay mommy, go go!” I felt such gratification knowing through all the struggles I made it for me and him. Delayed though, not denied! That moment I knew every step in life I made was for the better life for me and my son. Unforgettable and undeniable love and support for life!

What would you do with $20,000?

I would first invest into my sons future, by depositing a portion of the money into his savings I began for him. Next, I would plan a mini getaway for us and family. I would pay up rent for the year to live in comfort, not stress. The rest I would deposit into an account of savings to invest at a later time for my sons future business he has been wanting. Also taking the time to give back to a few mothers like myself. Allowing them to know to stay motivated & the sun will always shine bright!
