As a single mom balancing work and school, I strive to create a brighter future for my child, teaching resilience and determination
We would like to thank you for supporting Kiara Byrd in this year's Super Mom competition. Your participation allows us to aid Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in their commitment to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.
The most rewarding part of being a mom is witnessing my child's growth and milestones. Every smile, laugh, and moment of learning fills my heart with joy. The unconditional love I share creates a deep bond, making even the toughest days worthwhile. Knowing that I’m shaping his values and guiding him toward his dreams is incredibly fulfilling. Watching him overcome challenges and celebrating his achievements brings a sense of pride and purpose.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget? One memory I’ll never forget is the first time my child took his first steps. The joy and excitement on his face, combined with my overwhelming pride, created a moment I cherish deeply. It felt like a beautiful milestone, marking the beginning of his journey toward independence.
What would you do with $20,000?With $20,000, I would prioritize my child's future by allocating a significant portion to a college fund. I'd invest in a 529 plan to help cover tuition and educational expenses. Additionally, I would set aside funds for essential needs like a reliable car and emergency savings. The remainder could be used for educational resources, extracurricular activities, and experiences that enrich his growth.
