Despite abuse and post-separation struggles, I changed careers to support my kids, pursue entrepreneurship, and show God is my strength.
We would like to thank you for supporting Khiara Lonyéa in this year's Super Mom competition. Your participation allows us to aid Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in their commitment to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.
The most rewarding part of being a mom is knowing that, despite life’s challenges, I am my children’s safe space, their biggest cheerleader, and their greatest source of love. No matter what anyone says, I have not failed. My children’s smiles, hugs, and laughter remind me daily that I am enough. My faith has made me stronger, and the support of family and friends lifts me up. Being a mother isn’t about perfection-it’s about presence, love, and showing up, no matter what the circumstances.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget? One memory I’ll never forget is hearing my kids playing together. Their laughter, the shared jokes, and the joyful chatter fill our home with pure love. In that moment, all worries fade away, and I’m reminded of the simple, beautiful bond we share, a melody of love that forever warms my heart.
What would you do with $20,000?With $20,000, I’d allocate $8,000 for six months’ rent to secure our home, use $3,000 for essential clothes and shoes, and invest the remainder in my children’s college funds. This plan supports our present needs while laying a strong foundation for their future.
