What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

The most rewarding part about being a mom is being able to teach my son all the things I wish I knew at certain stages of my life. Now that I’m an adult, I understand the efficiency of specific information & the time to learn it. I want to best prepare my son for the world ahead and I’ve never been more confident than I am as a Mom to do so!

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

I will never forget how Dawson started developing early habits of retaining information and displayed that he knows how to identify tools and car parts at 1. He found apps that let him be a mechanic and fix cars. This is significant because my dad, stepdad and I work on cars in our spare time. It was like second nature for Dawson and he was barely walking. He knew how to start my car and all the functions as well and loves cars now.

What would you do with $20,000?

If I won the 20K, I can start to fund the facility I plan to open for People in Transition. I spent over half of 2024 sleeping in my car due to unforeseen circumstances. Sent my son to Iowa to protect him, all while completing my Bachelor’s in Law Enforcement at WIU. I Graduate May 2025! My facility helps people who have no where to go prior to/after work, school etc. The kids will be safe, heat up a meal, work in a cubicle, take a secured shower and pass time until we close. I want to help!
