After struggling through homelessness and losing my job the first month of my pregnancy, I pushed through for my baby!
We would like to thank you for supporting Kenya Romero in this year's Super Mom competition. Your participation allows us to aid Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in their commitment to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.
Knowing that my baby will never experience the struggle of not being fed, clothed, bathed, knowing they will always have a home in mommy with a roof over their head, warm food, and a shoulder to cry on.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?Finding out I was pregnant again after unfortunately suffering a miscarriage. I didn’t know I lost my first baby or that it was possible to get pregnant again immediately after. I went to the hospital and was told after believing to still be carrying baby #1, that I was expecting baby number two after a miscarriage with unknown cause.
What would you do with $20,000?Half will immediately go into a savings account so at the age of 18, my child will have the opportunity to chose their path and thrive whether it be college, trade school, or starting their own business. The remaining money will go towards a monthly allowance of a few dollars every week to teach responsibilities. Finally, it would also be utilized for a very nice room makeover of whatever theme they chose being I don’t have a designated room just yet.
