Kemice Morgan

What makes me a super mom is because I will give my daughter the world. She is the only thing that keeps me going and motivates me.

We would like to thank you for supporting Kemice Morgan in this year's Super Mom competition. Your participation allows us to aid Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in their commitment to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.

What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

I get to be there every step of the day through her up’s and downs. I tell her that God made nobody perfect and you are beautiful no matter how others make you feel. I love her and without her there is no me. I lost everybody at a young age and now it’s just me and her.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

My daughter was 6 months old and I found out that she had neuroblastoma which is a childhood cancer. She is legally blind in her right eye. That is the hardest thing ever I had to overcome because still to this day it’s hard. Having to tell your child that she is different and people be staring at her making her feel different.

What would you do with $20,000?

I would put some up for her college fund and her senior year. She graduates next year and really wants to attend college. Im just scared that people will treat her different because of her disability. I teach her that you are strong, special, beautiful, and nobody is perfect.
