What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

Although as a single mom it can be challenging I believe every part of it is rewarding. Watching your child grow, laugh, learn, communicate and love wholeheartedly is beautiful to witness. As moms we always want better for our child so we can only pray that our children reflect the love & values we have instilled in them, to see that come into fruition is rewarding!

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

I remember losing my job during covid, my son wanted a pair of shoes I could not afford at that moment. So in the store I sat him close to me & I asked him to pick another shoe. I had to explain to him why I couldn’t afford the ones he actually wanted. I shed a few tears because it hurt not being able to give him exactly what he wanted. My son gave me a hug and told me he didn’t mind picking another shoe & that everything was okay! I was very proud of him for being that understanding as a child!

What would you do with $20,000?

I would put $10,000 in a savings or investment account for my son and I would use the other half on a down payment for a home. Owning a home or property would be a great step towards financial freedom for my son and I!
