Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

Being a mom has so many rewarding moments! I would say the unconditional love and the joy of watching my son grow and learn new things is super fulfilling. Plus, those little milestones, like his first steps or first words, it feels like the happiest day all over again with each new accomplishment of his. I’m so proud of the person he’s becoming already and he’s only two!

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

My son and I love to bake together. It’s been a hobby of mine since I was a young girl, so to teach my son my passion is truly an incredible experience for the both of us. He pours the ingredients that I measure into the bowl. While I do the harder, tedious tasks, my toddler does the things he can manage, like mixing! He definitely sneaks a taste in or two, creating the biggest smile on both of our faces. I hope he never forgets the times he baked with mama.

What would you do with $20,000?

Personally, I would invest into something important for my son’s and I’s future. I would love to use the $20,000 to put a down payment on a new business in my city. It would be a Play Café Bakery. As I mentioned before, baking has been a huge part of my life and I have a lot of experience. I would love to help the community by creating a safe space for children like my own to play, while hard working parents can grab a delicious pastry and coffee to relax. It would be a very successful business!
