Kayla Nixon

I may lack a cape and lullabies, but I bring patience, support, and fresh ideas. If that makes a “super mom,” then I’m close!

What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

The most rewarding part of being a mom is witnessing a child grow into their own person. From their first steps to their biggest dreams, every moment is filled with love, challenges, and joy. The bond, laughter, and the little ways they show appreciation make all the hard work worth it. It’s the fulfillment of knowing you’re shaping a life with love and guidance.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

The day he was born was unforgettable-72 hours of labor tested every ounce of strength I had. Exhausted but determined, I finally met my son after c-section, and the moment our eyes met, every struggled faded. Holding him for the first time, I felt an overwhelming love unlike anything before. The journey was tough, but that tiny, perfect face made it all worthwhile. A day of pain, perseverance, and the purest joy imaginable. That moment stays with me forever.

What would you do with $20,000?

That kind of money could make a huge difference! I’d focus on financial security first-paying off debt, building savings, or investing in something stable for the future. Then, I’d make sure my son has everything he needs, whether that’s a reliable home, education, or experiences that help him grow. A little would go towards making life easier like something that brings his heart to joy.
