I became a mom at 14. I defeated all the odds stacked against me. I graduated high school as a jr, went to college, and gave her a good life
We would like to thank you for supporting Katlyn Edwards in this year's Super Mom competition. Your participation allows us to aid Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in their commitment to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.
Every aspect of being a mom is rewarding to me but I would have to say the most rewarding part is getting to grow with my child and watch her grow along side me.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget? Her first middle school dance. Seeing her get excited to dress up and go have fun with her friends for a few hours. Just being young and free and creating memories.
What would you do with $20,000?I would save part for my child to do whatever she wants when she’s 18 (first apartment, college, car, etc). I would use the rest to buy a house that we can call forever where she knows she can always be safe and call home.
