Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

Knowing all the hardships my daughter and I have experienced, knowing she’s such a bright happy girl, and she has learned to be so empathetic and caring towards others. It makes me feel so happy and grateful that she has so much light and life in her eyes, when it would be so easy to dwell on all the hardships. She’s a true angel, and I’m so lucky to be her mom.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

. I walked into my bedroom one day to find my 4 year old daughter (my youngest) sitting at my vanity. She had the light on my makeup mirror turned on and was holding her head at odd angles and squinting her eyes as she looked in the mirror. “Vaniya what are you doing?” I asked her and she said “I'm looking in my ‘nostroles' to see my nose hairs like you mommy.” 😂

What would you do with $20,000?

Me and my daughter have struggled since her father (my fiance) passed away last year. I would use it towards a place for us to live, Or groceries, any of the things we are struggling with to make it day by day. Also, I would love to be able to pay for therapy if she ever needs it regarding the trauma of losing her dad . It would be used to benefit our family of two as best as we can to keep pushing forward, even through the toughest of times.
