I’m an endometriosis and rheumatoid arthritis warrior who went through 8 pregnancy losses in the journey to build my beautiful IVF family.

Watching their personalities blossom and take shape — seeing the twinkle in my son’s eyes when he’s checking to see if you’re watching before he does something cheeky, watching them smile and discover something new, watching them find wonder in the ordinary and small. It’s amazing, isn’t it? Watching and being a part of human beings becoming human beings! There’s no greater gift.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget? It might sound silly but it’s not the big moments that stand out to me. What I’ll still remember when I’m 80 is those late night quiet moments. Snuggling them both, just taking in every detail of them, after a 2AM feed or the time when my son had a particularly bad sleep regression and I slept on the floor next to his crib for weeks holding his hand through the bars every night. Silently counting down to midnight on New Years holding my daughter who had just been released from the NICU that day.
What would you do with $20,000?Rebuild. My husband and I spent 6 years fighting for our family against infertility. Endometriosis surgeries, multiple rounds of IVF, and medical care after our losses weren’t cheap and they drained us of a lot of what we’d otherwise be saving back for the future in our 20s. We were determined to not give up. I’d love to be able to rebuild our savings and start a proper college fund for the kids and… maybe set back some for a trip to Disney. My son is obsessed with Mickey and Donald.
