Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

Coming home after a long day of work and getting hugs from my boys. Late at night when your trying to get them to go to sleep and all they want to do is talk and tell you all about their day. Their appreciation when I cook them dinner or help them with chores. Watching them play sports and being proud of them when they excel. Persevering at school when things are hard and getting positives messages from teachers when they have succeeded and done well.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

Taking them to Mexico for the first time this past winter. It was their first time on a plane going on a vacation and their awe at the warm climate and different plants after leaving the cold Canadian weather behind. Also swimming in the ocean there, they had the biggest smiles.

What would you do with $20,000?

We would love to go on another family trip maybe to a European country or Alaska to build more memories with my boys. We have lots of places on our bucket list we’d like to travel too. If there was extra money we would pay off some debt too! Or buy a new vehicle as we drive older vehicles !
