I went from having 1 child to 6 over night. My daughter and I welcomed my niece and nephews as our own. 4 years laters, these are my babies!
We would like to thank you for supporting Kandyce in this year's Super Mom competition. Your participation allows us to aid Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in their commitment to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.
Watching my children grow, learn, and become their own little selves is the most rewarding part of being a mom. Each and every one of my kids have their own personality. There is never a dull moment! I love how the laughter has increased in my house, now that we have more kids. 5 out of 6 came from a loveless home, but have slowly adapted to the love my daughter and I share with them. It took a while, but now give me hugs every day before school, before bed, and say “I love you, too.”
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget? To celebrate officially getting custody of my children, my partner and I decided that we needed a family vacation. We found a Harry Potter themed AirBnb in Davenport, FL. Just outside of Orlando. It had a water park and arcade in the complex and lots of things to do inside the airbnb. We are huge Harry Potter fans and surprised them with the trip. They all said this was the best trip ever. We still talk about it almost a year later. I don’t think any of us will forget that weekend.
What would you do with $20,000?I would use the $20,000 to help us get out of our 1 bedroom apartment. The economy has been awful, its so hard to find a decent place to rent and its been quite an adjustment for us. Going from a family of 3 to 8 was insane. We were comfy in our 1 bedroom. Now, it is impossible to be comfortable, have any privacy, or room for the kids to have fun and be kids. The money would go towards buying a home so all of us can finally have the space we need and the kids can get the bedrooms they deserve.
