What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

Being a single mom in school is both challenging and incredibly rewarding. It’s required me to have more motivation, time management, and a more deeper sense of responsibility but the true reward is the time I get to spend with my little one seeing his smile and how happy he is. It’s hard but it’s a reminder that the late nights and early mornings will eventually pay off for the both of us.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

I was laid out on the operating table for my c-section, alone and scared while they prepared me for my c-section. I’ll never forget my son crying but once my best friend was able to come in and put him on me, he instantly stopped crying. It was a sense of relief that he knew he was safe(to me) and I felt so much love and so many emotions.

What would you do with $20,000?

Being a single mom is hard when you can barely get any help. So, I would pay off my debt to fix my credit, so that way we have a complete fresh start and aren’t worrying about the list of other financial responsibilities. As well as getting my son clothes, shoes and other needed stuff as he’s growing so fast!
